Set up in Verona on 2007 by Pio Campo, since 2009 it is managed by a non profit association holding the same name.

SI.Danza represents in Italy the Centro Internacional de Dançaterapia Maria Fux, located in the city of Goiás (Brazil).

It offers a training path for dance therapists, starting from self listening and developing the possibility of inner acquaintance, expressive capability and sensibility. The human being is considered through an unitary vision: body and spirit, reason and feeling.

The school wants to give continuity and diffusion to the method at an international stage as well. It wants to suggest dance therapy as another possibility of life in different cultures.

The training takes place in Brazil, Italy and Nepal.

Aims

• To incline the learner towards the dimension of Listening as possibility of a deeper self acquaintance.

• To favor the amplification and the development of a-verbal processes through active experience, dance therapy and other corporal languages.

• To emphasize the individual in the research of self identity and in the group.

• To lead outward from the reality of SI.Danza the experience of the meetings and of the method, because it doesn’t have to remain a positive experience only inside the school.
