In occasion of the centenary of the institute, the guests of the Nursery school have been the dancing stars at São Jaoquim Theatre. On the stage together with them, Pio Campo, the educators of Vila Esperança and some of the teachers of SI.Danza. They have also celebrated the 17 years of collaboration between Vila Esperança and São Vicente de Paula Nursery school through the language of dance and painting.

“THE ANTS AND THE EGG OF VILA ESPERANÇA”
(As formigas e o ovo da Vila Esperança)
at São Joaquim Theatre in the city of Goiás (Brazil)
This show has been entirely produced by the children and the educators of the multicultural Odé Kayodê School. It represents the didactic course made by children during august 2009, course inspired by the tale “The ants and the egg” of Eric Battut. The experiment has touched all the didactic subjects that children study at school with a special deepening in dance therapy. The show has been created and led by Elisabetta Garilli, with the participation of Enrica Compri, Giulia Carli, Pio Campo, the teame of Centro Internacional de Dançaterapia and the group of Capoeira Quilombo de Angola.
The show has been presented in two different moments of the day, the first one dedicated to families and the second to the citizenry.

in Livorno, at EDEN – ACSI Club Dance School
organized by “Tra virgolette” Company, created within the Integrated Workshop of Show Project on initiative of Macera Sauro of the CMD Cooperative.
The three days develop as follows: Friday evening an initial moment of groups presentation and of all the participants showing some short videos; Saturday and Sunday different laboratories held by the representatives of the involved associations. The representatives of SI.Danza have been Daniela Baldin and Naia Zampollo, with some of the pupils of the school.

ZIGANKA FANFARE
in
A show of music and popular dances of the Eastern Europe Countries which will take place at Camploy Theatre in Verona, Via Cantarane 32.
All proceeds will be donated to the Project Espaço Cultural Vila Esperança in Goias, Brazil.
The Ziganka Fanfare is a sextet made of musician from Verona coming from different music experiences, who share the popular culture of Eastern Europe, with a particular attention on Balkan Countries. The repertory proposes an itinerary among yiddish and klezmer music, popular Russian, Hungarian, Rumanian, Serbian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Albanian and Armenian ballades reread through a training of great sound impact.
A lot of the pieces played by the Ziganka Fanfare are collective dances from Jewish and Balkan tradition, they can be proposed and directed by an organizer among the spectators. The music, in these occasions, besides being a very pleasant moment of listening , becomes an occasion of social involvement, through easy to learn dances which the spectators are invited to actively participate in.

Saturday 23rd February 2008 – at Camploy Theatre in Verona, Via Cantarane 32, at h. 21.00 it will take place a Show which gathers different artistic languages, titled:
“ELMER, THE MULTICOLOURED ELEPHANT“
It’s a theatrical performance, but not only that, based on the novel of David McKee “Elmer, the multicoloured elephant” (Mondadori Editions).
It includes the tale narration,
the real-time execution of the sound track by the children of the chorus “Voci Bianche San Giorgio” who will play and sing the story,
the execution of the songs by the chorus “Mani Musicanti” of Progetti Felicità Association, formed by hearing impaired children directed by Nicoletta Scarlini, interpreter of the Italian Language of Signs.
The playing voice of Enrica Compri will accompany Elmer story.
Music is composed by Elisabetta Garilli and arranged by Disegnare Musica didactic team, who will accompany the children execution.
During the show some images of “Elemer, the multicoloured elephant“ test will be projected.
It’s an evening performance supported by the Solidarity Group for Brazil Vila Esperança.
The proceeds will be donated to the School Project of Goias in Brazil, addressed to the poorest children. Free donation entrance for parents and children.

Change of the Place for the Seminar of Pio Campo

In case of need, we inform you that the Place for next Seminar of Pio Campo, scheduled on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October 2007 HAS CHANGED.
The Seminar will take place at “SI.Danza” School, in the gym of “C. Perucci” School in Marzana.
The change refers ONLY to the Place.
Timetable remains unchanged.
We inform you that we are organizing the Sunday LUNCH. As it is holiday, there are no open bars close to the School, consequently there’s the possibility to stay in the gym of the School in order to share a picnic lunch together.
Anyone is free to get organized as he wishes, we will take care of bread, fruit, ham etc.

The International Centre of Dance therapy announces the new establishment of the International School of “SI.Danza” Dance therapy in Verona, under the direction of the Masters Dance therapists Pio Campo and Maria Fux, director of honour. The School is founded in cooperation with the International Centre of Dance therapy and the Solidarity Group for Brazil “Vila Esperança”.
The courses to train dance therapists will last three years. They are addressed to doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, healthcare workers, graduates in social pedagogical and motor control disciplines, social workers, and to all persons who wish to go deep into a language which combines creativity and movement, in a new way of communication.
